When I was a graduating senior many moons ago, I didn't have a horse at the time but I did have a very special dog. I was adamant that he was going to be in my senior photos and man am I glad that I was. Sweet Popeye has since passed away and I am so grateful to have him in those photos and look back on them frequently. Because of this, I am such a firm believer that if you have a special horse in your life when accomplishing big things like graduating high school or college, then you NEED to have them in at least some of your photos!
If that didn't convince you, I have some more key reasons why its a great idea to include your equine partner, but before I jump into those, I have to mention that the gallery below has a couple of my favorite senior photos but mostly high school senior photos for Kyly and some of her family horses. Equine portraits are usually at a place where you and your horse are most comfortable and happy which means that your photos get to be at your barn, your favorite trail, on the ranch, etc. which makes them even more special!
